As an example, I had an organization approach me for fundraising using photo buttons for band members. I quoted them a price of $2.50 each, as they were providing the photos. I showed up at several performances, and the parents were invited to purchase buttons of their students priced at $10 for a single button and $15 for two. Parents were fully aware this was a fundraiser, and thought nothing of buying two buttons most of the time. The band wasn't required to pay anything up front, and really only needed to provide me with pictures and a place to set up and work. I would be approached by the customer, find the photos, produce the button on the spot, and the parent would pay in cash and leave with the finished product. By the time we were done, we sold 217 buttons for a total of $1845.00. I charged them $542.50, leaving them with a profit of $1302.50, minus the cost of the photos. Needless to say, they were happy with this profit.

 

I can currently produce buttons in 3" and 1" sizes.
